The door lock had malfunctioned beyond anyone's control which caused a delay in entering the condo. The place was clean and convenient to pool and ocean. We would stay here again.

House was very clean. Beautiful views, especially at sunrise and sunset. Very comfortable beds with soft sheets. Wonderful layout for a large family. Plenty of space in the common area upstairs for a large family with small children to hang out within sight without feeling claustrophobic. The walk to the beach access is just at the end of the block. Beach is super clean and free of big crowds. Decorations are minimal and tasteful. (For families with small children, as a heads up, some a the decor is breakable, but we we able to put everything up high in the sizable pantry to keep it in good condition during our stay.). Kitchen was very functional for all meal prepping.
Only minor detail I would add is that you might need extra paper products because there is only one roll per bathroom for your whole stay. It also would’ve been nice to have an extra towel or two. They only leave you one towel per person on your reservation. So make plans accordingly.

We had a wonderful stay with Carolina Getaways! The home was exactly what we were hoping for for our family vacation.
The location was perfect, a short distance from the beach and close to great restaurants, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We especially appreciated how convenient and family-friendly everything was.
Overall, we loved the home and had a fantastic vacation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

We loved this house. It fit our entire family and 13 grandchildren perfectly. Everyone had their own space and plenty of places to find quiet time when needed.

My family (a toddler, baby, and dog) stayed here for 3 weeks and had an great experience. The house is perfect for families with kids and the location was incredible - the only downside being a giant new build that is in the process of going up on the ocean front lot that completely blocks the view, but you can at least still hear the ocean from the porch. The hosts were responsive and helpful, but we did have some issues with the electronic locks that were a bit annoying. Overall we would absolutely go back again.

The location of the house was great. House was stocked well and had everything we needed. It was clean which is huge for me personally. Nice for families being on a one way street with not much traffic at all. The beach area is so nice. It wasn't crowded at all. My only qualm was using the code that was sent to me did not work and I had to immediately call for help. No one answered so when I text I did get a response with a new code. Same with the storage unit, code didn't work. Had to ask about that one as well. We had a wonderful time other than that.

This condo was beautiful! The space worked great for our family of 3 adults and 2 children. We loved the pool & hot tub, proximity to the beach, covered parking and being able to pop over to the tiki bar for a sunset cocktail on the pier! We even saw a couple get engaged on the beach. Location was great, just about 5 minute drive from the boardwalk and amenities of Carolina Beach. Kitchen was well-equipped; we made breakfast & lunch each day and dinner at home one night and had all we needed. And you really can not beat the view & sound of the waves- the BEST! I can't think of a single con to the condo or our stay. We will absolutely book this spot again!
This place was amazing, the view was beautiful. I had a toddler and the host made sure I had a playpen for my toddler to sleep safely, this was very important to me. Lots of places in walking distance and lots of beach stuff. The only issue was the bathroom was dirty but it was immediately addressed and they came to clean it for us. This trip was unforgettable for my family, we can't wait to stay next year.
Our stay was amazing! This was the perfect place to enjoy a family vacation with parents, siblings, and our kids! We loved our stay!

We love the Sea Monster! The location is great, the layout is great, everything was so smooth and easy. We would stay here again no question. Plenty of space for everyone. Clean and well decorated. The decks are great for views of sunrise and sunset. Could not ask for easier access to the beach! Host was easy to reach and very responsive to all questions.

Overall, it was nice. It was a little high. The grill was messed up, and I had to fix it myself. The best that I could the drawer in the refrigerator was broken. The shelves are all cracked, and the door shelves are cracked so you can’t put much in it and they expect you to do a lot of cleaning and it’s not really clean when you get there and I had to rewash all of the silverware and all of the utensils to cook with food on them like eggs and mold growing on the spatula for the grill in the drawer forks and spoons still had food on them. It was gross. There was a fiesta of ants that I had to keep spraying with hot shot other than that it was good. The lights in our pool one was red and one was green and they flickered off and on the whole time, but then one pool beside us was a beautiful purple and stayed on properly. Their water was really flowing in our water with barely moving little things like that and they didn’t mention that you had to climb stairs the whole time you were there and lug all your stuff up there and it’s a lot of stairs doing it wasn’t a problem just unexpected in a heads up. Would’ve been great whenever I reached out, they responded promptly. I had no problem with that.
