Carolina Getaway Reviews

Thankful to get a last minute reservation. As a current FL resident close to top rated beaches in FL, Kure/CarolinaBeach always will be a place like home for us. We hope it won’t be another 10 years before we return.
Thank you for being our host to memories we were able to create.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, yard - beautiful and dock was equally just at fun.

Wake n Lake is a beautiful, spacious home on a peaceful lot with amazing views of the lake. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfy. The kitchen is very well stocked. We especially enjoyed the boat house area fishing for catfish, kayaking around the lake, s’mores at the fire pit, and ending the nights with a game of pool! A perfect place for a family vacation!

Fantastic vacation made possible by a fantastic home - Perma Grin!!

House was VERY clean and good quality. Well maintained. Kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed at. Pool and hot tub both worked great which is hit and miss with rentals. Carolina was extremely responsive, though we only had 1 question about the hot tub (which was actually answered in the description, we just missed it). We would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for a little getaway with the family. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was relaxing and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every evening.

Great house! Will stay again with my family. Clean, well equipped and easy access to the beach. Had a minivan that wouldn't fit in the garage, but parking space convenient on the street.

They were very responsive and prompt to respond to a few very minor issues we noticed upon checkout. 5 star rating all around. we will definitely be booking this home again in the future.

Beautiful April weekend, beach not crowded, celebrating four April birthdays in the family: 6 adult, 4 kids, 2 dogs. Property was spotless, obviously recently refurbished, and handled our crowd just fine. The hot tub functioned, excellently equipped kitchen, and superb views to the ocean from upper and lower decks. Kure Beach is old school NC and far enough away from the rowdier Carolina Beach. Less congested. Great beach, fantastic house.

Beautifully appointed, gorgeous location, fun for the kids (ages 11 & 13), and perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed lots of walks on the beach searching for shells and a trip to shark tooth island nearby. Management was quick to reply to all questions. Thanks for a great stay!

The Taylor House has everything you could need for a wonderful time at the beach! The location is near restaurants and it is a quick walk to the beach. This was our second visit here and I highly recommend it for a family gathering spot!!

Great place to stay! We will be coming back again.

GREAT location. Right on the beach and you literally step out onto the sand. We wanted a place where we could SEE the ocean and it was perfect! Parking was interesting. We have a large SUV and it was VERY tight. Only one spot under the house and the other vehicle had to park across the street in a lot. We were there off peak and one night we couldn't get a spot - might be tricky when it's busy. Condo was just as described. Very neat, clean, and had everything we needed. Decorated "beachy" and super cute. The majority of house is renovated except the bathrooms. They are dated but certainly didn't change the trip. The second bath has an extremely small shower. Our son at 6'2 could not fit in there. Might not bother some but there are only two pillows on each bed. If you love pillows like I do, you may want to bring a few extra. Great trip!

Wake N Lake is a beautiful private getaway. Highly recommend for a family trip or if you want a peaceful time away.

The home was beautiful and perfect for our 2 families vacationing there. We loved being away from Carolina Beach for quiet afternoons and evenings but loved the proximity to restaurants. The fully stocked kitchen made cooking at home for kids a breeze! Host was super responsive and very organized! Would recommend and re-rent!

My boyfriends mom and mine where in town and we wanted to a beachfront to relax over the weekend. The place was perfect for that. I didn’t quite understand that the levels are split and the only access to the downstairs is to go outside however it needed up working out in the end. Just something I wish I realized ahead of time. Other than that the view is something you can’t get over. Thank you for open wing your home.

Beautiful views! Well appointed vacation property qnd a great location

Laura our host was amazing! Loved the home and location. Can't wait to go back!

This beach house was perfect! Great location! Lots of space! Multiple spaces to entertain-pool, hot tub, fire pit. The scenery was perfect located right on the beach! If you’re looking for a great place to stay. Our family recommends 10/10.

beautiful place, 2min walk to the beach. I would definitely book this place again.
