Beautiful home and spectacular view! We competed in the Ironman 70.3 North Carolina and walked to the swim start!

This home was perfect. The location was excellent, close to restaurants abd the Kure Beach Pier. The house was clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. The pool was beautiful and came with everything needed for a great time. My grandchildren really enjoyed the volleyball in the pool. Sunrises were fabulous. Would definitely rent again!

Fantastic house and location. The house and point are right on the main lake. AND even though it is on the main lake, it is slightly indented and stays very calm at the boat house. The other great thing about the location is the lot is level and can be traversed by old and young alike. There is a great fire pit (rain kept us from using it) and a big and inviting hot tub. The teen agers liked the kayaks and the swim float. The house is huge with room for everyone. We enjoyed the rainy days and everyone had plenty of space to do their own thing. The house is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths for everyone. There is also one huge plus - all the beds are very comfortable. We have stayed in five lovely homes at Lake Gaston and the family says this is the very best. They all want to come back next year.

Loved, loved, loved the location and million dollar view - close to pier and Big Daddy's for easy access. Pool was a big hit with both adults and kids. Very comfortable - few issues that were resolved fairly quickly - broken lounge chairs were replaced after notifying Liz - should have requested bigger coffee maker (4 cup not big encough :-)

Obviously a busy vacation rental with normal wear and tear.

Great place for a nice beach getaway! Great host and loved the private beach access. Definitely will be back!!!

Our family had a great time, awesome lake view, Very clean and everything we needed. I would highly recommend it and hope to come back again.

What a great place for a big family vacation! We loved celebrating my daughters 1st birthday at Lake Gaston.

The property is amazing. What a beautiful spot right on the main lake, with a new two story dock. So much to do right off the porch.

The house itself is a little 1980s, and it looks like the owners are slowly renovating. It’s not spectacular inside but it’s totally functional and usable. The master suite was very nice. The bunkrooms downstairs were OK, although the insulation between the ceiling and the floors upstairs is basically nonexistent.

There’s not much of a description of the amenities of the house, but there’s plenty. The kitchen is well stocked full of about everything you’d need, there are two kayaks and a paddle board, there are games and puzzles, and there are linens and towels.

Liz was very responsive and helpful…there was a leak in the shower and she got a plumber out (on Labor Day) to fix it.

Overall, we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

It was great. The only reason I don't give the perfect scores is because the floors were not very clean when we got there. The house definitely a hand vacuum for everyday touchup. I bought some Clorox wipes for after meals cleaning.

The home was a terrific place for us to vacation. It's in an area where it's a bit quiet which was perfect. Home is well appointed, spacious, well lit and comfortable.

We loved our stay here! Pictures were accurate. Only thing we didn’t realize before booking is that you have to go outside to go between the main level and bedrooms downstairs. But the pool was amazing, deck was awesome, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a long weekend. Very clean, there are beach chairs and some beach toys, beds were comfortable. Its about a 10 min walk from the board walk.

This is our second year staying at this property. Great as last time. Great location. Had some trouble with the code working on the door but property owner was quick with responses and had a handyman there to fix the problem.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is convenient to everything, this is the spot. Plenty of room for big families or multiple guests. Beautiful views of the ocean and the pier from deck. Kids enjoyed swimming around in the pool. And having personal beach access is a plus. We all enjoyed our stay here!

The place is bright, clean and beautiful. We loved sitting out on both decks watching and listening to the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Great location beautiful beach, nice home with fantastic ease if use. However on the downside home smelled of bug killer the entire time and was a little rough around the edges, not t to be unexpected at the beach, but at this price point I have stayed at 5 star hotels on the beach without some these issues. Also parking is nit good for more then one vehicle, unless you have a very small car that would fit in a very low garage. Home comes with one reserve space on a very busy road.

The outside was gorgeous! So much for the kiddos to do.

The inside was not the cleanliest. There were spiderwebs througout the house. Clothing left in bedrooms. Trash and recycling bins were left filled so there was nowhere for our trash to go. The hot tub smelled like fish when we opened it. I did contact the owner of the house and he told us what chemicals to put in until a maintenace worker arrived (which didn't happen). O had asked if there was firewood at the house before we arrived and was told there was some, but when we got there, there was none.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough for all 4 families to enjoy a great time.
