Carolina Getaway Reviews

This was the perfect place for my quick vacation in Wrightsville - great location and very nicely renovated.

We had a great time! Place was clean and accommodated our family perfectly. Great location. Will definitely recommend!

Overall the stay and the place were great! Had never been to Carolina Beach before this vacation & found it to be very quiet and chill. Only negative was that the support handle in the master bedroom’s shower was broken. While it didn’t bother me, I could see it being a problem if a guest had mobility or stability issues. Would stay there again!

Excellent location with close proximity to great amenities. Very nice renovation. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean pet friendly and in a great location. Property manager was very responsive to requests including extra sheets and on street parking. Location is nice, a short walk from the Kure Beach pier with an arcade, shopping, restaurants, and ice cream. Pool was an added bonus. I'd stay again.

Second year. We did have a maintenance issue but it was resolved in half a day. Great location and the pool is a real plus.

Only negative about the whole trip was waiting until 5 due to the cleaners still at the location cleaning. Wonderful house and great location!

Place was great find for us. The location was super close to Oceanside and Southside surf shop and the pier. We enjoyed surfing, jet skiing, and beach going for the week. Loved the place and had a great stay. If I had just one piece of constructive criticism it would be vent the laundry room. That room which is downstairs (outside the unit/shared) was smoking hot whenever the dryer was on which made me think the vent for the dryer has come loose.

Beautiful home. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is extremely well equipped with linens and household essentials. The description on the website does not do it justice. We would love to return.

The place was very clean! I felt comfortable entering with my family. The location is perfect and the patio is wonderful. There were a few things I would upgrade. There is no blender and the coffee pot is about to kick the bucket. It doesn't serve hot coffee and needs to be replaced. The back patio door is extremely hard to open. It needs fixed. We didn't reach out to the management as we didn't any to be bothered ans made it work. The king bed was comfy, the second room and one great mattress and the other needs replaced. We put our youngest in that bed as she is the smallest with little weight.
These are all just small things to be done. Over all it was a beautiful week! The beach view and access to everything is perfect! Not a crowded beach this far up and we were even there for the 4th. Someone bear the building had an awesome display of fire works right in front in the beach. So we watched from our porch with a perfect view.
I would recommend staying here. :)

Great location - easy walk to beach, no steps to climb! Beautiful view from front porch, especially at sunset. Very clean place, nicely decorated, extremely neat and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in future!

Had a wonderful time at this property during our family vacation! Fantastic layout for a family with both little ones and teens. The location was perfect, and the pool was awesome! We would definitely rent this home again.

Nice beachfront view and porch. House is clean. A few appliances need some minor work including hot tub, oven, and downstairs dehumidifier.

Excellent location. Clean and kitchen well stocked. Baths were very small but were doable.

We had a great stay. The proximity to the beach as well as the private pool were perfect. Everyone had a great time and hope to return soon. Management was responsive to any issues and resolved things quickly.

The condo was very clean and well-decorated but I do have some recommendations for improvement: sliding glass doors were very difficult to open/close; Internet was in and out; Only 1 washcloth provided per person - could definitely use more (=lots of laundry); Only 1 dish towel provided; there were no potholders; left sink stopper in master bath did not work; kitchen hand soap was watered down (zero soap); TV in master did not work - likely due to dead batteries in remote; parking underneath condo not great for larger vehicles - highly recommend parking in the overflow lot for trucks and SUV's.

Unit was very small. Shared washer and dryer none in unit. Close to coffee shop, and restaurant ocean and intracostal.

Very pleased with stay!

Overall good. Only issue was a large roach on the couch

The place and view were great. Clean, plenty of room for the family. Pool was great but no railings at steps for and older person. I am 81 and had a problem getting in & out of pool. Not having stairs inside for the bottom area is a little inconvenient when it's raining and you have a 1 yr. old infant and have to come outside to get to upper level. Otherwise family really enjoyed the area and vacation and would recommend for a family that do not have infants.
