We loved Carolina Getway! Nicole was an amazing host that over commicated to ensure my stay was comfortable! The location is close to the bleach with lots of food opens near by. The resident was well decorated with soft color tones. I highly recommend staying and will return.

Fantastic place to stay steps from the ocean! It is part of a multi unit condo building that was recently remodeled, and quietly located on the north end of Carolina Beach. It was perfect for our family, plenty to do nearby, very responsive host and great amenities including a pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend this rental and hope our travels take us back there sometime soon!

Everything about this property was great, I can’t recommend it enough. Even though we had no issues, management took the time to check in to make sure everything was going well and were very responsive. The unit was extremely clean, and I’m very picky with attention to details relating to cleanliness. Another reviewer made a comment about the HVAC, but that must have been resolved because we had no issues. The location was amazing, we could come and go to the beach and pier. As others have mentioned, the chairs and toys available for use was an added convenience. I highly recommend this property, we can’t wait to return!
Thank you so much for your glowing review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the property, the location, and the extra touches like the beach chairs and toys. It’s wonderful to know that our check-ins and responsiveness helped make your stay even better, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the cleanliness—that means a lot. We’re so glad the HVAC worked perfectly during your visit, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another beach getaway!
If possible, you should be able to check in a couple of hours earlier than check in time. Unit is great
Thank you for staying with Carolina Getaway! We would love to host you again!
Easy check in, and great communication throughout. Only feedback is to include the point that there is overflow parking upfront. The parking spaces under the property are incredibly tight for large vehicles and I damaged my wing mirror. Also, maintenance had to come over twice while we were at the property to fix the lock. This should be done while the property is vacant unless absolutely necessary.
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience. We’re glad check-in was easy and that communication was smooth throughout your stay. We appreciate your note about overflow parking, and we’ll be sure to highlight that more clearly for future guests.
Regarding the lock, we truly apologize for the inconvenience of having maintenance stop by during your visit. We only had one key for the lock at the time, so we wanted to make sure you had a quicker and more efficient way to enter and exit without needing to use the lockbox each time. Installing the electronic lock was intended to make things easier for you, and we regret the timing wasn’t ideal. We’re grateful for your input and will use it to make the guest experience even better moving forward.
We had the best time! The condo is absolutely stunning! The location was perfect, right on the beach. The pool and hot tub was great. We have zero complaints! The communication with the host was great. This is our new favorite beach spot, I highly highly recommend.
Thank you for staying with Carolina Getaway, Ashleigh! We would love to host you again anytime!
Did not start out great. Key code malfunctioned and could not get in, then shower head in master fell off wall on first use. But response was good and both fixed quickly. Did not like "no beach towels". Are we supposed to fly down from CT with beach towels? Or buy them locally? It just gives off a 'cheap' sense of the place, which I find troubling with the rates at what they are.
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize again for the inconvenience with the key code and shower head at check-in, but we’re glad our team was able to resolve both issues quickly. The home does usually come with beach towels, and we’ve already spoken with our cleaning team to make sure they are placed out for guests each time moving forward. We truly appreciate your comments and will continue to look for ways to improve the guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us.
What a beautiful condo, fresh and new! Great location and easy walk to the beach. Stocked kitchen made meal planning easy. Super clean!
Thanks for a fabulous stay and we hope to see you next year!!
Thank you for staying with Carolina Getaway, Doranda! We would love to host you again anytime!
The property was beautiful, was a little difficult to find our parking spaces at first. The unit was clean and a beautiful view. The rug when you first enter made it hard for the luggage so I recommend folding it before entering with it. It daid the boardwalk was much closer but was 1.6 miles on a very uneven road. Wish we would have known that the roads floods almostly every night making it hard to get back to the condo. I was afraid we were going to get in trouble for passing the do not enter sign or that the water was going to be too high for my car to drive through.
Thank you for staying with Carolina Getaway and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you found the property beautiful, the unit clean, and enjoyed the view. We appreciate your notes about the parking, entrance rug, and road conditions, and we will take them into consideration to improve instructions for future guests. We hope these minor challenges didn’t overshadow your stay, and we would love to host you again for an even better experience.
