Beautiful house to stay with family, spacious rooms , clean and comfortable beds

Beautiful home with great views. The pool table and hot tub was much enjoyed as well as the ocean view from the master bedroom. The home has plenty of space and necessities. Owner is very responsive and willing to make your stay enjoyable.

This place truly went above and beyond to decorate for my soon to be daughter in laws Bach party. We really wanted to use the pool, that is why we looked for a heated pool. I guess I should have asked if the pool was heated before we got there. The house was beautiful and very accommodating. I would stay there again but I know now to ask about the pool.

This site made a perfect location for our family to gather. There was plenty of space for gathering and private time. There were plenty of activities indoors and outside. I imagine summer would be amazing for activities. The neighborhood was quiet. The lake was gorgeous. The kitchen was well appointed with supplies. Seating was flexible for all needs. The place was nicely decorated with a homey feel. It's big so bring your people and enjoy each other.

Great house and location. Carolina was very communicative. Had one minor issue which she resolved within one hour!

Great location, close to beach, pier, restaurants, park, the loop. Great for families with kids. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the beach and park nearby. We walked the loop in the mornings and got a coffee from one of the local coffee shops. The house is very clean, updated, and comfortable. Our kids loved the bunk bed. We enjoyed the porches which you can see the beach from.

I probably looked at 75 houses from Wrightsville to Kure. We wanted on the water. Because it is mid Feb, I didn't want a home that had real beach-y decor. This house is lovely, very nicely decorated, but not overly so. It is spacious, with so much room for everyone to have their space. Because it was cold, beach time with the kids was at a minimum. The house was spacious enough for them to run around without hurting anything. The hot tub was great. We used it every day. The beds were comfortable and there were pull out love seats in the parents' rooms for the littles. The 2 year old slept in her pack&play, but we found a full size crib.The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need for cooking and grilling.The communication with management was excellent. We plan to return! It was a 5 star experience.

This home is absolutely amazing with breathtaking views. Minor repair issues kept it from being a 100%, but my family and I rate this as a 96% on the test. Issues with the home are as follows: Two doors did not secure properly so deadbolts were set and not used furtherNailhead exposures on the rear deck required shoes. Deck furniture damage left exposed screw headsMinor existing damages such as scrapes to flooring, carpet stains and broken railing in deck. All of these issues are minor and can be fixed by a handyman in a weekend. These are the highlightsThe layout is perfect. The advertisement should be changed to reflect that it is essentially two separate dwellings. We could have invited another family of friends. The master bedroom perfectly aligns with the sunrise and sunset! Absolutely breathtakingThe furniture, paint and finishes looks like a Wayfair advertisement! Dishes, linens, towels etc…were well laid out and clean. The neighborhood is immediate walking access to the fishing pier, and we will be renting again when weather gets warmer. Neighbors were friendly and beach access is spectacular!This was a wonderful stay, and we will be renting again in the near future.

This was a beautiful stay at Wake and Lake. If you want a gorgeous view, all the amenities and comfy accommodations this is the house for you. We loved having a hot tub, fire pit and a beautiful view from everywhere. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The staff was also always attentive to us if we had any questions. Thanks for.a great stay!

Really enjoyed the private beach access and hot tub. The house was super clean and had so many awesome things.

This beachfront home was everything we hoped for, a perfect winter getaway! The private walkway to the beach made for stunning sunrise walks and easy access for our annual 5K & polar plunge. The zen spots I found, with perfect lighting and quiet, for yoga/meditative mornings. The house was spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described—right down to what they don’t provide (seasonings, coffee, tissue, etc.), so plan accordingly. It’s clear the home has been lived in, which adds to its charm, though the bathrooms could use a little attention. That said, it was the perfect stay for a cozy winter retreat, and we truly hope to return next year!

A wonderful space for our family group. Enjoyed the outdoor space as well as plenty of sleeping options.

We booked this property to give a farewell to a friend and family and spend some fun time together. The house is beautiful and the location cannot be more perfect, being right on the lake with a deck to enjoy the serenity of the views. It snowed the day we arrived and that multiplied to the charm (even though it meant we could spend less time outdoors). Amenities are thoughtfully provided. The only negatives, minor in nature, were that some furniture/beds were in worn out condition and at risk of breaking apart, so we had to be extra careful, especially because of children. The property management was easy to reach out to but for most queries on issues related to the property, they had to put us on wait until they heard from "operations team" which felt a little annoying. The details regarding access code was not clear: upon reaching, we found that the main door did not have a keyless entry, so we tried the garage and we got lucky that the code worked for the garage door. We left one of our belongings behind at the property and contacted the management but they never followed through. Nevertheless, they accommodated request for a late check out and we had an unforgettable time at the property. On behalf of our party, I'd like to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us for this stay.

Only stayed 2 nights in the office season and did not do any outside activities but home was comfortable and decently stocked

We had to cancel last minute due to illness, but the host was responsive & very gracious. We hope to try to stay again sometime!

This house was perfect for our large family gathering. The number of bedrooms and beds was perfect - although one more bathroom on the lower level would have been nice, we made do just fine. The outdoor area is great and we loved the nice level yard that led to the lake, in particular for our smallest family members. We went in the winter so didn't get to enjoy the water, but we loved the view and did have nice enough weather to sit on the various decks. We had a small issue with the hot tub during our stay that precluded us from using it, but it didn't detract overall from our stay. We would recommend and definitely come back!

The house was nice and clean. Right on the beach. The hot tub had a couble of clitches but property manager was on the spot and helped us fix it. Would love to stay again!
