Carolina Getaway Reviews

Great space for a group of friends enjoying the beach! We loved cooking in the big kitchen and enjoying family dinners at the dining room table. Missing that back porch already.

My husband and I stayed at Serenity Now in April for two weeks. The condo is clean and well stocked. Terrific location! Views from the balcony are lovely - magnificent sunrises. On line photos were accurate - no surprises. Nicely decorated. Guest shower is small but usable. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are on the older side but all clean and maintained. Property manager Liz was very responsive to questions. Walk able neighborhood and short walks to restaurants and boardwalk and Carolina Beach Lake Park. Grocery store (nice Publix) and other shops (Wings, Walgreen's) are a short five minute drive. Costco is about a twenty minute drive. Enjoyed our visits to Fort Fisher, Southport (via ferry) and Carolina Beach State Park. Took a tasting and history tour with Tasting History Tours. It was fun and informative with lots of good stops along the way for enjoyable tastings. Recommended restaurants - Freddie's Italian, Havana's, Stoked, Squigley's Ice Cream Shop, Gulfstream and Butts N Such. For nights in get your seafood at Blackburn Brothers - fresh, delicious and good prices. We had a terrific stay!

This home was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations! My family and I had plenty of space to relax, everything was updated, close proximity to restaurants/shopping/entertainment and beautiful views! The home is equipped with everything you need to feel like you are at home away from home and felt very clean! We will definitely book here again!

We’ve stayed in this condo multiple times- reasons are location, quiet, cleanliness and comfortable furnishings

We had a great time at Carolina Beach. The property was perfect for our little getaway. I just wish the weather was nicer for our stay.

Three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room to spread out or gather together - whatever we were in the mood for.
Communication with management was VERY good - super speedy responses.

Absolutely great location for big families! The house all the amenities to make a long weekend very comfortable!

Really enjoyed this home. Wish the pool was heated and the two floors were connected from within the home but wonderful home still. The property manager for very quick and responsive to help and address any issues. Thanks Liz. Would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful house with great facilities. It was as described in the marketing material. We enjoyed a very relaxing time. Liz, at the property management firm, was also very responsive to our questions and requests.

We had a party of 5 adults and 5 kids! It was a wonderful stay and the property manager/owner was very responsive to communication! We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub (would have loved the pool more if it were heated). The ocean view and walk was amazing and glorious everyday. Only problem with this location is parking. The garage is way too short for vehicles other than cars. We had a truck and Durango. There are street spots to park but we were not told we had to pay and assumed they were part of the homes cost. We got 2 tickets on the truck within a 2 hour window for being in the street spot. We were excused one but had to pay the second. $55 for a ticket, but had we known it wasn’t part of the homes parking and we had to buy spots to park it is $20/day. I think that is still ridiculous as there was absolutely no way our vehicles would fit the garage. In my opinion the parking is a problem for this home. I would definitely stay in this home again but due to parking would consider another home along the same location that actually had parking availability.

Great house with lots of room and all the necessary amenities. Nice ocean view from the deck and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Located close to many nice restaurants and shops. House was very clean with linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and and hand soap.

We really enjoyed our stay! The views were terrific and great location in proximity to all our favorite restaurants. It was the perfect weekend getaway!

Morning views and storm watching at its finest from the back deck! Accessible to so many places…and quite the variety! The separate sleeping downstairs was perfect for our late sleepers without the hustle and bustle of the morning upstairs!

The house was great, the parking was a little inconvenient because the view made up for it.

This house has so many terrific parts of it, it is hard to leave a review that encompasses everything that we felt while staying at this house.
From the second we entered the premises we could smell how clean and well taken care the house was.
What is not to love about this house: The interior, the access to the beach, having a pool and a hot tub, plenty enough room for everyone to spread out, an extremely well stocked kitchen, even a simple thing as garage door openers being provided while you stay there was so beyond impressive! The best part for our family was that our fur baby was allowed to come with us on this amazing vacation. THANK YOU for allowing pets!!!
This house was/is amazing and we have been asked by many friends for the rental info for it.
You will not regret renting this property, it’s more then words can explain.

Clean, comfortable and great location.

Comfortable bed. Well apportioned. Good communication. Great views. Close to restaurants and boardwalk. Enjoyed!!

Great location, quiet beach, kitchen with all the utensils and amenities, tons of space, 10/10 wonderful stay, we will be back.

This location was perfect. We were close to stores, restaurants and had easy access to the beach. The sunrise in the morning was amazing. Would love to stay here again. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals.
